One of my favorite stamp companies is giving away a Silhouette Cameo !!!!

That's right Pink By Design Stamps is giving one very lucky person a Silhouette Cameo.. can you believe it?

The Silhouette Cameo can do so many great things from cutting Vinyl, Fabric and Cardstock to having optical alignment which allows you to print and cut right from your home printer.

You can cut any font or design from your PC or Mac so there is no need for cartridges. The Cameo comes with it's own software called Silhouette Studio so you can design your own images or purchase right from the online store. They have a huge selection of images for you to pick from for just 99 cents and an online library with preloaded images.

You can sign up for free and there is a free shape of the week to grab for your online library.

Here is a quick video on all the amazing things that the Silhouette Cameo can do.

Imagine winning your very own Silhouette Cameo... any scrappers dream come true!! So head over to Pink By Design and check all the easy ways to receive entries.

While you're there check out and  pick up a couple of their great stamp sets. I have many of them and belong to the Stamp of the Month Club....love it and you will too.

The contest ends May 31/2012 (the day after my Birthday hint hint) or at their next stamp release whichever comes first.

Flutterby Wishes

I'm sending some Flutterby (aka Butterfly) wishes to a girlfriend of mine or as I know her "my sister from another mother".

I made her this double z fold card... hope it brings a smile to her face.

She hasn't had a great time with her health lately and I thought she could use a little cheering up... who doesn't love getting things in the mail.

My friend loves Butterflies and I just happened to have this DCWV Butterflies gold glitter paper..... how perfect. The card base is Mediterranean Cardstock from the Paper Company, and the Burnt Orange from Recollections.

I added a little strip of orange and Butterfly paper on the inside. The sentiment comes from Pink By Design July SOTM Believe in Yourself.

Another view of the double z fold.

Finally I decided to close it with a belly band. I cut a  1 1/4" strip of blue Cardstock and measured around the card. Then cut a circle with my Cuttlebug and my Spellbinders Standard Circle Large

The Butterfly is from the Sentimentals Cricut cartridge and the sentiment is the Pink By Design December SOTM Sibling Love.

Hoppy Easter

I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Easter and show you a card I made recently.

I used orange, green and brown Bazzill Cardstock for the base and the layers of this card. I stamped the Bunny in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on White Recollections Cardstock and used my Copics to color it, then cut it out using my Spellbinders Classic Ovals Large

I just love this cute little set of stamps from Hot off the Press called Hoppy Easter. I used the mini carrot stamp and made my own background paper. First I stamped the carrot in some Memento Bamboo Leaves Ink and then colored them in with one of my Copics. I just love how it turned out, I will have to try this with some of my other small stamps.

For the Carrot I used the Create A Critter Cricut Cartridge cut out at 3", along with the shadow layer. The carrot is my favorite piece of the card.... I just love it. The sentiment comes from Pink By Design's Hoppy Easter stamp set..... isn't just perfect. I gave the carrot some dimension by adding some popdots.

For the inside of the card I stamped some more carrots and rounded the corners with my corner punch. The sentiment also comes from Pink By Design's Hoppy Easter stamp set.

Wishing you a Hoppy Day
Hope everyone has a great Easter with Family and Friends.

Wedding

In two different previous posts I showed you the Wedding Invitations and Favors that I did for a friend.

Wedding Invitation
Wedding Favors

Well her big day has finally come and gone and two have become one. What a beautiful Bride my friend made, a day she won't soon forget.

To wish them well on their new journey together I made them a Chapel card.

I used the Tie the Knot Cricut cartridge and my Cricut Expression to make this card.

I welded two Chapel Shadow layers together in the Cricut Craft Room to make the brown base of the card. I cut the other layers out using the same pink and brown paper that I used to make the invitations.

The tulips are cut out using my Martha Stewart Tulip edger punch and then colored with Copics.

I found the bell embellishment in my Christmas stash and attached it with a mini brad so it can move back and forth.

The sentiment is from Inkadinkado Wedding stamp set. I used the hearts cut from the front of the chapel and added some popdots for dimension.

The ribbon is from Recollections, its hard to tell but it says:  ...and they lived happily ever after....

Since this card is 7 inches tall I had to make an envelope for it. I used my Martha Stewart Score Board and this beautiful paper Wedding Words from  Recollections.

Here are few pictures of the favors and of the cake.

The tables looked so good... I love the Center pieces and of course the favor boxes :)

 ... love the cupcake holders

Cake anyone??

What a Yummy treat for all Kahlua Caupcakes with Raspberry Icing.......they were soooo good.

Wishing my friend and her new hubby all the best on their new journey of Love.

A little bird told me.....

Well time to get back at it.... I have been sick with an ear infection that just wouldn't go away.
Now it is gone and I can enjoy life again... yay

So I started the other day with a birthday card for the LPN on the unit I work.

She is a wonderful, thoughtful lady that I love to work with. Since it was her special day we decided to celebrate with balloons, flowers, cake and of course a  card.

I stamped one of the birdhouses from my JustRite Birdhouses stamp set and colored it using my Copics. I cut out and embossed the image using my Spellbinders Standard Circle Large Dies. Then ran the bottom half of the teal paper through the Cuttlebug with the Floral Fantasy folder.

Both sentiments come from the Simply Everything stamp set from Pink By Design. This is a great versatile stamp set to own, it simply has a bit of everything...lol

The cardstock is Recollections Cool Water .... I love the colors in this paper pack, a mixture of purples and teals. I added a few large and mini flower brads from Recollections that I picked up on sale at Michaels.

Since the card is a 5 1/2" square I realized that I needed to make an envelope to fit.

I used my Martha Stewart Score Board and Momenta Chloe's Garden pyramid paper pack that I got at Walmart to make this envelope. I just love the great assortment of beautiful double sided cardstock in Chloe's Garden.... great for many uses.

Have a great day and stay crafty.
